Stanford Cool Product Expo | 2010

Wednesday, April 7, 2010 12-6pm @ Arrillaga Alumni Center, Stanford University / Free and Open to Everyone

About the CPX

The mission of the Stanford Cool Product Expo is to generate interest in and excitement around “cool” products and companies in the field of manufacturing and design at Stanford and the community at large.

An attendee walking through the expo will likely encounter budding start-ups, university research lab projects, the latest R&D from global manufacturers, the best from local design studios, and more. We invite exhibitors from a variety of industries that practice innovation by way of design, function, and/or technology.

The CPX is made possible through the efforts of the Stanford Product Design & Manufacturing Club (PDMC), the Product Realization Network at Stanford, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

    Greetings,

We are interested in exhibiting at the upcoming CPX. Please let us know what we need to do.

Green Harvest and our Reusable Biobased Water Bottle

Green Harvest Technologies (GHT) provides sustainable biobased products for personal and planet health. Our first product, a reusable water bottle, is similar in size, function, price and durability to existing bottles. However, our bottle has a modern iconic design led by the design team at Ziba Design http://www.ziba.com, and since it is made from a biobased plastic, with no additives, no toxic chemicals are there to leach into the container’s contents.

Our reusable water bottle is made from 100% biobased materials, with the goal of extending the “clean and green” product benefits throughout the product lifecycle: from sustainable feedstock production to cleaner manufacturing to non-toxic and green end-products for the consumer. The biobased plastic can be recycled back into exactly the same products and will be collected through a “Take Back Program”.

A founding B Corporation, GHT is a company of social entrepreneurs, green engineers, and market-change advocates committed to building a for-benefit business with the interests of all stakeholders and the earth in mind.

GHT’s goal is to promote the replacement of petroleum-based plastics with sustainable bio-based materials.

We look forward to hearing from you.
    David

We are also interested in exhibiting at the upcoming CPX. Please let us know what we need to do.

CycleAware, based in Santa Cruz, CA, designs and manufactures a line of proprietary bicycle safety accessories.

CycleAware’s innovative rear view mirrors and day-to-night visibility products, allow cyclists to be keenly aware of their surroundings and highly visible to others.

Hello, we are interested in participating.

We have developed the Sunclipies ( http://www.sunclipies.com ), where we produce exactly tailored sunglass clip ons for all eyeglasses in the world, just based on fotos of the eyeglasses. They look much nicer than existing sunglass clip ons (basically just change lens colors) and have no feelable weight.
